Another Bee on Lavender
A day spent pottering between reading, Olympic viewing and some very basic cooking is just what I need. The weather is better than expected, so relaxing in a shaded corner of the garden is delightful.
The artichokes have been maturing really quickly, so we share a giant specimen, dipping each leaf in butter before carving up the heart. We follow this with Jersey potatoes and our own sugar snap peas, briefly blanched so they still have that delightful snap. It’s our first time growing these and we’re pleased with their success.
It’s garden photography again, back to the bees on lavender.
