It took forever. Left at10:10 for 3:30 ferry.    Horrible traffic and then an accident involving trucks and fire and fire engines took so much time that we ran out of time to shop groceries.   So had to stop on galiano…. Happy to give them the business actually.   And with only one beast of burden it took forever to get all the stuff here.  7:30.   Thanks to my savior golf cart for its small part.    It’s a huge holiday weekend in Canada but Eric and family are arriving tomorrow …and we wanted to be with them .  They will be blipped! 

But I’m going to blip our new electric pole in Seattle….it was very entertaining.  These 4 photos are out the front  of our condo… 2nd floor living room.    Our condo had been warned that that very crooked Pole  was being replaced and we would be without power from 9 pm to 5 am today.     It was fascinating to watch….they put the new pole down the deep hole they dug about when we went to bed, but kept on working with lights .   We read that it might take awhile to transfer everything so there might be 2 poles for awhile.    But when I got up this morning,, There was1 straight pole!   -(and a dog walker and a plane).    And the power never went out,   Magic!   ( not thrilled about those yellow supports now however) 

The power had been off at the cabin in the 4 days we were gone.     Hopefully a short time.    not 4 days.
