Job’s a good’n

Our fencing team arrived bright and early this morning. Mike we first met as a sixteen year old, along with his dad at a Gait Barrows volunteer work party. Even then, his enthusiasm for nature and the outdoors was obvious. He worked hard to establish his own woodland management company, and finally achieved his goal of helping to manage Gait Barrows only a few years ago. He has always thanked Rob for his guidance and encouragement, and has become a very knowledgeable nature reserve manager. He is very kind in helping us when we need, and he and Tracey spent their day off knocking in fence posts and putting up rails. The really remarkable thing was they spent the whole time joking and laughing! They really seemed to be enjoying themselves!
Mike’s catchphrase at the end of a satisfactory day’s work was always “Job’s a good’n” and today it truly was!
