Handmade…

…but not by me. This is just a tiny part of a beautiful hand sewn king size bed quilt made by friend M. No material was purchased, all the fabric was collected over the years of its construction and each patterned square was created in complimentary colours and hand-sewn. A neighbour completed the edging and backing. The middle panel (not seen here) included the name of M’s husband and the names of all their much-loved dogs who have been part of their lives during the creation of this quilt.

It was a delight to see it when W and I went round to M’s for coffee after our Saturday morning yoga session.
