Darkness and Sun Stage
Another day of music, meeting friends, good food, and people watching.
My first idea was to post a picture from Mitsune’s set. See them on YouTube. However, Jan got there first. In the end I put up a picture of the Sun Stage, taken as we listened to Sallyswag and as it finally got dark, at about 11 o’clock. Dusk takes a long time to happen this far north, and is part of the magic of Urkult.
Another part of the magic is the age range of the audience. I’ve seen newborn babies, ancient people, and everything in between. Wherever you are, kids are running (or toddling) around and it all helps to create that Urkult magic. Right now it’s shortly after midnight and we are back in the camper van. The music goes on until 2 in the morning (we can hear it fairly clearly) and I suppose most of the kids and pensioners are back “home“ for those later sets.
A little rain today - a lot more tomorrow!
