Homeward bound

First,  many thanks to you all for the lovely comments , stars and hearts in celebration of my double anniversary.
It is lovely to be part of such a friendly community.

It rained overnight so Fletchs pre breakfast walk was very wet underfoot. The 'paddock walk ' which has always been his favourite place was not very pleasant. It's now extremely overgrown and was very wet this morning.

We decided against our final morning walk to the old bridge as it was still drizzling but had a stroll round the village paying at the Game cock to buy some of their  delicious French pastries. ( highly recommended)

A few roadworks on the way home.. ie lots of cones and traffic lights hut NO sign if work or workers!

We decided to stop at Grange . Another hold up to the carpark as a range rover had broken down right in the middle of the main street.

But we found  a parking place, had a stroll round the park and stopped at Butterfingers for apple pie and icecream. ( I'm so pleased  it's not closed )

A pause at M& S for food and home .

A lovely break. We enjoyed it so much weve booked to go back again in October.. subject to Fletch still being fit ( and us!)
