En vacances

Late morning and Robin, Rufus and I drove to Ceri restaurant on the edge of Lake Bafa for a tasty Turkish breakfast. Considerably more expensive than last year, but still a lovely experience. 

On the way back we called in at Blue Lagoon and my apartment to check it and pick up a few more of the things I left there. It seems never ending.  Claire and Vaughan were by the pool so it was good to have a quick chat with them before heading home to the villa for the afternoon of pool time. 

It is mbfiatw Jean's very significant number birthday today, so we had a nice long video call - the first for a while.  Abu came for an hour at one point to do some small jobs around the house - finishing some plumbing and electrical work. Robin and I went to MIgros and bought enough salad ingredients for a leisurely evening at home, with Olympics on BBC 1 for entertainment. 

A good 'holiday' type of day.
