Another scorcher

It was another scorcher of a day. Ian did his last day in the office at Portsmouth Uni so Leo, Bobbie and I had the day to explore.

We found another crazy golf place and even better it was indoors and out of the heat.

We also had a cool time in the museum which was in a lovely solid Victorian building so the heat didn’t seep in. There was an Arthur Conan Doyle display. He had been a Dr at one point- I had no idea. There were also lots of displays based around Portsmouth Footie Club and the history of the seaside resort.

Leo has fun trying out some of the old style pier type slot machines that I well remember growing up.

They had a Penny Farthing on display too and up close you realise how tall they were and they must have been terrifying to ride.

We ended the day on the beach and enjoyed the sun going down.
