Hoping for Rain

Another hot day of 33°C and ever increasing humidity. I escaped the worst heat when I drove to my mother’s house in the Taunus hills, to help organize some repair work and stay for lunch and coffee, of course. Frau G had invited her son and teenage grandchildren, too. My mother always enjoys the company of young people, so it was a nice change for her.

The forecast rain and thunderstorms didn’t materialize, and it’s still very hot and muggy. I am not looking forward to another tropical night, but it looks like the weather will finally change tomorrow.
