Southern Upland Way - Day 1
This is our new project, with the usual suspects. We went from Portpatrick to Castle Kennedy (15-miles) - further than expected. We were SO lucky with the weather. It started with stunning coastal scenery with views of Ireland and the Isle of Man from the coastal path. Then moved inland to farmland, some forests, and bits of roads (too much for my liking). We will be eternally grateful to the two young farm hands who rescued us from a field of bullocks!
