Party

I had a busy day. I went to a "party row" to celebrate my friend's birthday. It might not be everyone's idea of a celebration but that's what Gail wanted to do for her special day so we put a crew together brought the bubbles (alcoholic and the other kind as in my photo), some cupcakes and chocolates and had a great time! 
Afterwards I rushed to my book group meeting - we were discussing Fair Helen by Andrew Greig. The response to the book was mixed and I am afraid I didn't particularly like it, though it is very well written. We had a great evening though and a full house for the first time in a while.
