A Meandering Life...

Kirkleatham Walled Garden

As if travelling down to London over the past few days wasn't enough we headed over to New Marske today to see our middle daughter. We went for lunch at the Kirkleatham Walled Garden and caught up on the progress in the garden.

The highlight was definitely the flower beds that have been made into a wildflower garden this year. Apparently it is a one off as a permanent boarder will be planted later. That is a shame.

The whole garden is looking good and I even came away with a red hot poker that was being sold as surplus. Planting that was the first thing I did when we arrived back home.

Tomorrow I will rest...
