Thirsk Model Railway Show

Last year this show raised over £2000 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, looking at the crowds this morning they should better that this time.

I have not been to a model train show before and we were taken aback by the number of people looking around. 

My main interest is in the dioramas and not necessarily the trains. Most of the displays appeared to be homebuilt and not kits. The detail was excellent.

I might need to find my old scale rule and sharp blades...
