Finchingfield - most beautiful village?

A trip to Finchingfield to see the Art Exhibition in the ancient Guildhall. I was most impressed by the watercolour artist. The prices were much higher than I imagined too. 

After a walk round the village, we settled for some en-plenair; I chose pen and wash. It was a beautiful day and possibly the prettyest village in Essex. So much choice - it was a challenge to choose what to paint. I finally plumped for the bridge, and pub. Then we had lunch at a delightful cafe. A wall of 20th Century movie stars kept us entertained as we tried to remember their names. We placed the experience in our top 10! We will return.

Some bad news for B. A call from the lung doctor in Chelmsford. Just when she thought that she had the all clear, more procedures needed.
