Pop!

Our daughter returned yesterday from the hen do with a variety of items, one of which was this balloon. It caused great entertainment, fortunately not from 05:15 am when I was on child watch but later in the morning.

One of the dogs played along happily bouncing it with his nose.

Unfortunately a few minutes after this was taken, and when I was out of the room as others had taken over, the dog’s enthusiasm went a bit too far and the balloon burst. It was filled with small golden discs which were projected into the air then cascaded down. I was told it looked very pretty. Our grandson did not see it that way and had to be consoled…..for a few minutes until the next thing caught his eye.

The family are now back home and the house feels very quiet!
