Weymouth Bay

A relatively smooth drive down to the south coast avoiding the motorways. We spent the afternoon at Abbotsbury’s Sub Tropical Gardens in eponymous temperatures. The view along Chesil Beach was amazing. The famous swannery shimmered like an iceberg in The Fleet lagoon. We checked in to a beachfront hotel in Weymouth and enjoyed the promenade after supper. We were just back in our room when the summer fireworks were launched!
