Cooling Breeze

A warm day but a cooling breeze that kept it feeling pleasant for some outdoor activities.

After the morning dog walk I spent three hours at the allotment. I feel more on top of things now - well the urgent tasks at least. The cucumbers are doing well but some of the leeks are going to seed - apparently this can be caused by a cool spring. I picked more boysenberries to freeze.

This afternoon it reached 27 degrees so I stayed in the cool and watched some of the Olympics, including an incredible final in the men’s downhill mountain bike race.

This is the peace lily we were given by our neighbours a few weeks ago.
