Watching Water

A day where a dip in the stream was very necessary to cool down at the end of dog walks. I think Merlin would stand in the water for a long time given the chance - he seems fascinated by the flowing water and stones. It’s certainly very relaxing with the sound of the water bubbling by.

Grateful:
- To get a few hours at the allotment. I’ve not been there much this past week and everything has grown a lot. It felt a bit overwhelming.
- An hour sitting in the garden after lunch, just listening and watching. I saw a red kite overhead.
- To Andy for cooking a tasty pasta dinner whilst I listened to my audiobook. I’m listening to an Alexander McCall Smith story.
