I should have stayed put

I didn’t have the most restful night but I was awake early and enjoyed some time with the pooches.

I got to the office early too as our financial manager had an oopsie at the weekend and managed to slip a disc. It being month end I knew it was going to be busy.

But, my positive mood didn’t last long

Firstly I discovered that one of our young people was inebriated and causing a rumpus.

Next, another of our young folk, who had received a grant to start a small business for her family, found out that her Dad and his mates had drunk most of the grant money. She was beyond angry but devastated at the same time.

Next, we had our weekly Exbo meeting and it became clear that none of the required tasks had been completed.

Not surprisingly I ended the day with a migraine.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day or retirement might soon be one of my choices.
