A very quiet day. #1son is however not sharing my love of all things food related and in fact has been suffering from a bout of the runs, potentially related to the chicken pox after effects, perhaps the heat, perhaps the follow up of the inoculation 21 days ago.

In any case he was not really for heading out today until the evening when we had a date with some mermaids and pirates. The plan was rather vague, despite there being posters all over town and the office del turismo said 8.30-9.00 in the centre of town.

Dutifully we went there but nothing happened at all, good job we didn't have any children waiting patiently to see anything resembling a show.

We did however see a few hen nights which made us feel right at home.
