Headed over the Severn Bridge today to spend a few days with my cousin Bob and Francoise (see extra) in Bristol.
Neither of us knew the city at all - so it was great to be taken on a tour of some of famous sights including the Clifton Suspension Bridge and the architectural wonders of the crescents and closes. The above is Royal York Crescent - reputedly the longest of its kind in Europe begun in 1791 to th design of William Paty . . . . . . . . . . . .
