Backstop

The wildflowers in the prairie look wonderful and this year several new plants have emerged as the habitat continues its development.

It's a challenge to find a way to portray all that beauty. I liked this view using a long lens to compress the scene, which makes the flowers seem a little more abundant.

Shooting from the shade into bright sunlight gives a windowed effect which I liked and the trunk of a maple tree acts as a backstop.
