Golden Dawn

I was up in time for sunrise and decided to head to Cannock Chase to see whether the heather had started to flower.  While there were early signs it's probably another couple of weeks before it is at its best.  Still, I couldn't resist capturing the sunrise across Sherbrook Valley.

On the way up to the Chase I also stopped off to capture some early morning mist, which I've added as an extra.  After that it was a quick trip to the supermarket and then enjoying the first day of competition at the Olympics.
