Great day in London today, an impromptu climb up the Monument, a visit to the Biba exhibition at the Fashion & Textiles Museum & lunch at Borough Market. We’ve never climbed the Monument before so we ascended the 311 steps for some spectacular 360° views of London. The Biba exhibition was a real eye-opener. Fascinating to see how passion can launch the most incredible ground-breaking designs, but also how quickly things can deteriorate and disappear. At one time Biba was the most profitable store in the world. Two years later is closed it’s doors for the final time. And Borough Market was sooooo busy!
