On the Verge
After doing an errand, I went up to my favourite spot for butterflies. Some of the local roads are going to be closed from tomorrow so I thought it best to get up there while I still could. The spot is a roadside verge and has some fantastic views towards Barnsley. It was too breezy for ideal conditions but there were lots of Meadow Browns as well as a Gatekeeper and a Ringlet. I also saw a Large Skipper but they are not included in the count. The rest of the day, I’ve been watching cricket.
