Painted Lady...

A lovely Friday with lots of sunshine so that lured me out for a wander and it turned out to be a glorious morning full of butterflies!! I've never seen so many! especially Gatekeepers! There must have been well over 200 in just a short space and I was in butterfly heaven!!  I also saw Meadow Browns, Marbled Whites, Commas, Red Admiral, Whites, Peacocks, Wall Browns and also spotted 2 Painted Ladies which were a lovely sight!  So when people are wondering where all the butterflies are, they're enjoying hedgerows away from humans lol And the blackberries were a tasty treat to enjoy as well! I really should take a container and pick some to bring home! I keep forgetting!

Was quite quiet on the bird front but still spotted a great spotted woodpecker, dunnocks, lapwings, goldfinches, robins, long tailed tits, great tits, crows, swans and magpies.
