FLOWER FRIDAY - OUR GARDEN
Feeling a bit “down” today - in fact, had a bit of a pity party. I’m not asking for sympathy - I just have to keep saying, in the words of the old song, "Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again"!
However, I just wonder at the moment if it has all been worth it! Mr. HCB recognised that so said we should go out for a coffee, which we did, to Jack’s - where we had a good chat about the benefits of having my cataracts removed and the alternative if I hadn’t had the operations. I guess the aftermath of both operations and feeling so poorly this time, has stopped me doing things and with everything else that is happening, it hit me today, but I have to keep reminding myself that tomorrow is another day.
Wanted to take a couple of shots of our garden, which is looking good at the moment - there is the corner that Mr. HCB has remodelled with some of the new plants, the “Blue Angel” Clematis, the Acer and the beautiful geraniums. Then, looking through the archway, the Passion Flowers, remind me of Amanda_T’s Mum, Deanna, and also the yellow, pink and dark purple hollyhocks behind the blue garden seat.
Thank you all so much for your encouragement just lately - and for the lovely comments, stars and hearts, which are all very much appreciated. I know I will get there eventually, I just need to keep reminding myself to be patient. Have a great weekend. M xx
