Fancy a Chinese Tonight ?

This is what Dave said to me this morning. Dave is a neighbour who lives dead opposite us. We have never been for a meal there. We went, we had a good meal, we had a few beers & I got sauce on Nikki's tablecloth. Probably shan't get invited again ! Fortunately I didn't get any on the carpet just down my shirt ! We had a great time !

Peter joined us for the meal looking pretty drained. Understandably he went home early still suffering from the after effects of a general anaesthetic.

Its been very hot today, in fact according to the 10.00 o'clock news, temperatures reached 31 deg C today.

Nicola is doing the Moonlight Walk tonight in aid of the Florence Nightingale Hospice. She (& about 750 others) are walking either 6miles or 13miles around the town. The intention is to raise vast amounts of money for charity. Fortunately it will be quite warm tonight ....so good luck to all of them..
