Two

Two surprise visits today the first was a young deer in the field. I had just washed the kitchen floor, took my tea into the lounge to wait for it to dry, looked out the window and noticed the deee. I had to tiptoe carefully on the wet floor and out the back door.Managed a couple of shots and then it walked away. I sat outside and watched it running along the fence and among the trees for a while.
Later in the day the female pheasant was walking down the field and I was delighted to see so babies running at her feet. They were very tiny and hard to spot. They came closer and I took some photos before she crept into the garden to eat some fallen seed. Just two so I should think the others have been lost. It’s not easy being a chick with so many predators around.let’s up these two make it
