Home again....

Home again, and the brilliant blue sky is here too!

The Portsmouth skyline was so clear even as we left Ryde Pier, and there were lots of yachts making the most of the sea breezes, maybe in preparation for the Cowes Regatta.

This is the Spinnaker Tower and it..'was built as part of the centrepiece of the Renaissance of Portsmouth Harbour Project and has become Portsmouth's most prominent landmark. Visible beyond 23 miles away; it dramatically overlooks the Portsmouth harbour, Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, City centre and all of Portsmouth and its neighbouring towns and suburbs.'

We have the Shard, Dubai has The Burj Khalifa and Portsmouth has the Spinnaker Tower! All giving magnificent views for miles around!
