No, no, no - definitely not here
The bittern was hiding in plain sight, but for most of the time, still almost impossible to pick out amongst the reed beds. At one point it wanted to discourage an egret and adopted this extended ruffled pose - the egret non-plussed decided to move on. The bittern then again became the motionless predator seen in the extra. I saw it find an eat a dragonfly - it was too far away to be sure but I think it might have been a freshly emerged (and yet to fly) hawker - but it was definitely breakfast for the bittern.
