But it wasn’t meant to be!

Thrown on the wheel, this was a tall cylinder, a vase in the making, that, due to being poorly centred, became unbalanced. The top distorted so I cut it off. What was left behind still had an uneven shape but by manipulating it a little, it became what you now see. A happy accident.

The task today was to get mum to Ruth’s. After a slow start we eventually arrived at 4pm. Mum and I both needed a snooze! Then I shopped and cooked. We ate before a family video chat where we shared and reviewed plans for mums care with mum. She’s on side with the idea of help to enable her to carry on living safely in her own home.

Tomorrow my brother Steve and sister in law Jackie will come up to take mum back to London. A meeting with someone from the agency is scheduled for Friday morning.
