Future promise

The grapes on next door’s mine are developing nicely. It has been another very hot day with temperatures up to 35 degrees. I was at the market very early but now the holiday season is with us, I had to queue at the stalls even at 8:30 am. I returned with a heaving basket of fruit and vegetables. The fruit at this time of year is especially good. We have lots of local growers, apricots, peaches and cherries and they are now at their best. I tried to send some money from one bank account to another and encountered problems. I had to make six calls during the day starting at 11 am and only got the problem partially resolved at 7 pm. I must’ve spent total of two or three hours on the phone. Internet banking is fine when it works!
Daniel was not there to lead our French Conversation group so it was down to me. There were only three of us but we had a good chats
