Stars And Stripes

We did the 'black barn' walk this afternoon. It was pretty overgrown in places, we should have brought a machete with us. It was pretty hot too. And there were lots of sheep.

We even saw some butterflies, including quite a few marbled whites. I didn't get any decent shots though.

I couldn't decide what to blip, either the poppy with a bug, or the cinnabar moth caterpillar. So I've done a blend. Not to scale :-)

Sorry about the title - I couldn't come up with anything else. Stars on the poppy seed heads, stripes on the caterpillar ....
