It’s a great year for blackberries. The bushes are laden with ripening fruit but this was the first ripe one I saw. I went to the hairdressers this morning and I was a bit apprehensive as the lovely hairdresser I have had since I moved up here has left. However, her replacement was fine and I was pleased with the result. I was supposed to go out for tea with friends this afternoon but it was too late after I had had a late lunch so I went a walk instead.
