Kept us guessing

Went for a walk with a friend this morning to look at this derelict building which will soon become a new restaurant. We were intrigued to read this riddle on the blackboard (see extra) and it kept us guessing for the rest of the walk. Despite the grey clouds this morning, it was a much better day than yesterday - warmer and a lovely sunny afternoon. Looking at the worrying pictures on the news from Rhodes I just hope that my granddaughter and her friends will be able to get their flight home tomorrow. Luckily she is a fair way from the fires and hasn’t had to be evacuated but it’s so sad for all those people who have had their holidays ruined.
