D cooked scrambled eggs and smoked salmon before giving me a lift to the station. Journey was fine until we got to Sheffield where we were delayed due to a signalling fault. That meant that I missed my connection at Derby so got home 45 minutes later than I expected. All was well and Otis came straight into the kitchen to greet me , despite having only graced the cat sitter with his presence once. It’s amazing how they know who has walked in. I unpacked and pottered around a bit and then sat down for some catch-up tv. Billie came to sit on me and fall asleep- not like her at all!
