An outdoors day

A 70 mile cycle, including the tour of Torridge. The annual rotary club fundraising event I try and support each year. I was pleased to survive unscathed after the lumpy course and rough terrain.
The ride home afterwards reminded me how much time I spent out of action earlier on this year but also so so grateful for each and every day that I breathe. A bacon and egg Sunday lunch, shower and a practice run with my new tent! (watch this space) before the next round of fun
Across to Appledore for a short fishing trip, actually I was the skipper’s assistant. A happy fishing party were suitably served with banter and the excitement of several Smooth Hounds coming into the net!
Back to Amadeus for a late supper before collapsing into bed.
