Stairway to?

A WW2 control tower at Perranporth Airfield. These steps have been used by pilots since 1941. Many are now dead, killed when they flew their Spitfires from here, or just dust after a retirement, well earned, following their efforts on our behalf.

Grandpa has just booked Elder Grand Sprogs first flight for next weekend. An hour flying around the whole of Cornwall, he should be quite used to the machine and the environment of the air after that.
