Flower Friday

Backblip for Friday 12/7.  A past its best Hebe bloom, but I liked the drops of dew hanging on there.  Book Club after Tittle Tattle Teashop today.  Captain Corelli's Mandolin. A book I read a long time ago after seeing the film. A stark contrast in the ending - I was shouting at the book telling Captain Corelli to stop wasting the years and go back to Pelagia!! Not the happy ending as in the film.  For once everyone liked the book - some thought it a bit wordy, but I liked the descriptive nature of the writing. I love everything Greek, so It was not hard to enjoy this.  Two new books for the summer - one quite long so I will have to get on with it!
