Wool Rushes
I am so thankful that today was much warmer than yesterday. The temperature hit a high of 10 degrees today, although out in the warmth of the sun, it felt a lot higher.
This afternoon, I was in the paddock that the sheep had been in, and noticed this rush, that had gone to seed, with wool on it. Obviously one of our ewe's had managed to tangle itself in the rush, and ripped this small amount of wool from its fleece. The criss-cross in the background of the photo is the netting on the fence behind the rush.
