A typical Christchurch street

We live in a city of road works. The earthquakes have not only stuffed the streets but the infrastructure underneath. Some of the pipes were the originals laid when the city was built so it is not surprising they required replacement.

It is a bit annoying, the closed streets, the merging lanes but it will be great when it is done!
