Washington Monument to Leesburg VA

What a wet day we had compared to the hot day yesterday :-(

We had tickets for the Washington Monument and the views from 555ft from the ground were amazing!

All the way down the Mall to The Capitol and in the other direction the reflection pool in front of the Lincoln Monument.
Great views of The White House and lastly my favourite view - The Jefferson Monument :-)

When we finished our sightseeing Adrienne & Ron met us to drive us to our next Airbnb in Leesburg ready for the wedding!

We spent the evening in the rain at a Hawaiian Bar and saw Erin and her boys and Uncle Frank & Joan.
All the family met now :-D
