Up early, which was easy as we’re 5hrs behind London.

Paula & Andy arrived at the Airbnb with bagels & lattes and then it was off to the closest Metro station.
So nice to meet the groom before the big day!

We ‘hopped’ on a sightseeing bus at Arlington Cemetery and took in lots of sights including:
The White House, The Capitol, The Monument and many others :-)

Later into the afternoon we took a water taxi along the Potomac to Georgetown taking in many more monuments & sights along the way.

A quick change and then out to their favourite restaurant in Alexandria with Adrienne & Ron too where we had a lovely meal and gave them presents & cards.

By the time we arrived in their apartment for coffee the cross stitch was already hung!
