Day 11 RhineRoute Duisburg to Xanten

Day 11 Duisburg to Xanten 56km. A few showers, but quite warm, interesting leaving Duisburg, one of the biggest inland ports in Europe. A stop for lunch in Rheinberg, then a lovely evening in Xanten. Such a beautiful town, lots of history and a fantastic Kloster garden. Had an amazing dinner at Restaurant am Poorte, delicious chanterelle soup, one of the nicest soups I’ve ever eaten.
