Friendly Swan

Not to be confused with its mate across the other side of the lake. That swan had a hissy fit at me as I walked past and there was a lot of wing flapping too. Enough said, I was soon on my way.

The swan in the blip paddled furiously towards me from out in the lake and was seemingly very pleased that I had stopped to see it. I don't think that it thought that I might feed it as no one ever does. My faith in swans is now restored.

Several electrical items bought this morning to replace the ones we currently have (no pun) and which have just about had it. Items are vacuum cleaner, toaster, iron. How wonderful to have a discount card to use and get 12% off and the vacuum cleaner was already on offer too.

Back home now and we're off out this evening to meet some friends in the garden at The Bell pub just up the road in Alderminster. It should be warm apparently.
