The Worker

Tiny Tuesday and I don't think that I've ever blipped an entry for this. I suppose that there is a suggested theme but to be honest I haven't checked. Thank you to Isbi for hosting it.

In to Stratford on the bus today to pick up my new spectacles. Approving nods all round. Jayne is now having her eyes tested later.

Parcel dropped off at the Post Office. We have joined the library. Met with one of Jayne's sisters and husband at The Boston Tea Party for brunch. All three of these 'happenings' within a hundred yards of each other in Henley Street.

Caught the bus from town to Waitrose and picked up a parcel, my final choice of new lens, and then caught another bus from there back to Newbold. 

Jayne's eye test  by the way showed her eyes to be in exceptionally good condition although she will be trying out some new contact lenses from next week. I won't as I just cannot get on with them.
