Gardenia
The Feast Day of Saint Pambo.
This Saint is one of the greatest teachers of the desert fathers of the fourth century even though he could not read. He learnt the psalms by heart, with the help of his brothers.
It is 22c and sunny here. Close as well.
The squirrels were being playful in Cut Wood when I was there this morning and it was such a great joy to see them.
The Gardenia is in flower for the second time.
Several days of close range environmental noise, using loud mechanical instruments behind our garden, and a beautiful fir tree has been destroyed. Tarmac and a brick wall have been build.
I have been silent about it, but it is indescribably upsetting. Noise of drilling and our garden now lacks the privacy the tree gave.
I could not put the washing on the line because the smell of diesel pervaded our garden. I used the drier.
I am reading an enjoyable Kindle book. It is 2:30pm now, 22.7c in the living room, and very close and drizzling. The dear cats are by choice, indoors.
Thank you for recent kind comments, enjoy the great weather if you can.
