Edinburgh tourist obstacles
It's a bit of a battle to walk to the gym when the path is blocked by big groups of visiting school children, each set identifiable by their coloured language school rucksacks. This morning I was forced to weave a route through yellow livery. I stopped to take this shot close to the new wee 'park' that I blipped a few days ago. Despite these obstacles, I made it to the gym in time for my aquafit and strength training classes, and a short swim.
We decided to take advantage of the good weather this evening. Jon came over for a barbecue in the back garden after we stocked up on provisions from Crombies and LIDL. Whitey the pigeon provided some of our entertainment while we ate, bounding from window ledge to window ledge, hesitating over whether or not to risk helping himself to our food. The seagulls were also swarming at one point. When required, Jon sprung into action as an excellent scarecrow.
After supper we came indoors to watch Lola. Mr hazelh and I saw this film in August 2022 and were convinced that Jon would enjoy it. He did :-) Mummy hazelh was not so keen.
Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike; aquafit class; swim (20 lengths); strength training class; walking (16,477 steps).
