Sgwarnog: In the Field

Worth

I had a day off with 16yo. On a rare fine day we went for a little outing on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.

As per our last couple of visits, we took the train to the end of the line at Oxenhope, walked back down the line to Haworth, had a little potter about and café stop there and then back down to Keighley and home.

Today’s locomotive was 41241, built at Crewe in 1949 and retired from main line duties a few months after I was born.
